Govinda, wife Sunita and Mahabharat actors attend Gufi Paintal's prayer meet; Photos

Gufi Paintal, who played the role of Shakuni Mama in Mahabharat, passed away on June 5. His prayer meet was held on Thursday (June 8) in the presence of his family and friends from the industry.

Mukesh Rishi, who had known the late actor for a long time, came to pay his last respects to the departed soul.

Actor Liliput, who has done popular shows on television like Vikram Aur Betaal, Zabaan Sambhalke and Adaalat, was also spotted at the prayer meet of Gufi Paintal.

Veteran actress Madhuri Sanjeev was seen stepping down from her car. She has been part of shows like Krishna Chali London, Piya Ka Ghar and Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha.

Mahabharat actors Surendra Pal and Firoz Khan, who played pivotal roles in the epic show, were spotted at the prayer meet. They were also present at the funeral on Monday (June 5).

Kunal Jaisingh and Juhi Parmar, who are known for being part of shows like Ishqbaaz and Kumkum, were clicked by the media at the prayer meet while they were heading inside.

Govinda and wife Sunita Ahuja, who have been part of showbiz for a long time, were seen arriving at the prayer meet to bid final goodbye to the talented actor.

Good old friends of Gufi Paintal, Rakesh Bedi and Rajesh Puri were present too. Both of them have worked in the Indian entertainment industry for decades.
