Gulfam Khan Hussain, who is currently seen in Dhruv Tara, is looking forward to Eid celebrations on April 11. The actress shares how she gets nostalgic whenever her family celebrates Eid. She said, "I used to get a rupee coin from Dada during Eid. My father lost his parents when he was young so his best friend's father used to visit us during Eid, we called him 'Dada' (grandpa) and he made us stand in a queue and gifted us one rupee coins. And then our father used to give us more cash and we used to splurge on buying new gifts. It was a very happy childhood and now I realise that it was the golden period of our lives."
Sharing her plans for Eid this year, she said, "I will be at home. My husband is travelling for work and he will return on Eid. We will have lunch together and then visit family and friends." The actress enjoys eating sheer korma on Eid. She said, "I cook sheer korma and my mother-in-law makes biryani. That's a staple for the feast on Eid. It will be a happy time meeting friends and family."
Gulfam has acted in many TV shows like Betiyaan, Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Aladdin Naam To Suna Hoga. She has also acted in films like Talaash, Dhanak and Dolly Ki Doli. She will soon be seen in a web series titled Waack Girls. She said, "I enjoy playing varied roles whether they are negative or positive. My role in Dhruv Tara is also interesting."
