I am playing a strong-willed, independent woman: Rinku Dhawan, who will enter Megha Barsenge

Rinku Dhawan, who was last seen in Udaariyaan, is all set to enter the show Megha Barsenge. Rinku will play the role of Navjot talwar, a woman who has courageously taken care of her family, and making it on her own. The show has Neil Bhatt, Neha Rana and Kinshuk Mahajan playing important roles.

Rinku said, "After Udaariyaan, I have a very beautiful role in Megha Barsenge. I am playing an independent, strong-willed woman who has made it on her own in life. I look forward to this role, because the show has an interesting story and I like how every actor is giving his or her best to the show."

Rinku, who has been part of many shows and has worked in showbiz for more than two decades denies that it is tough bagging good roles. She said, "I feel that my sincerity, passion and discipline towards my profession has not made it tough. I take my work very seriously and even if I am shooting for the 100th scene, I will always give it my best."

Rinku also shared her views on the content in TV. She said, "The content reflects the lives of people living in 2 tier and 3 tier cities. India is not about metropolitan cities, majority of the population lives in smaller towns and villages and our TV shows reflect their stories. In smaller towns people live together, follow traditions and they are together in thick and thin unlike bigger cities where people don't stay together. We don't even know our neighbours in big cities."

Rinku is hoping to work in OTT projects. She said, "I would love to do an OTT show if there is a good role. Just like TV is meant for a particular audience, OTT is catering to the metropolitan cities and younger generation."
