Senior actress Nishigandha Wad, who is currently seen in Prateek Sharma's show Suman Indori suffered a minor leg injury, while shooting for the show. The actress in an exclusive chat shared how she is better and recovering in a hospital in Goregoan.
Nishigandha said, "We were shooting for a scene inside the Mittal namkeen shop and then we had to come out of the shop. While stepping out, my right foot twisted and I had a bad fall. For a few minutes I was very shocked about how this happened to me. But, the team and every crew member ran to my rescue and rushed me to the hospital, where my family was already waiting. I am thankful that producer Prateek Sharma and his team took great care of me and gave me timely help."
Sharing how she will take a week to recover, Nishigandha said, "The doctor has advised one week rest. I am sure the makers will make some changes in the script to give me time to recuperate and resume shooting for the show. There is swelling on my right foot, so it will take some time to heal. It's my bad luck how everyone took a step down and I suffered a fall and got injured."
On the work front, Nishigandha, was seen playing a grey role in Rabb Se Hai Dua and currently she plays Ashnoor Kaur's character Suman's mother-in-law in the show. She said, "I play a very mild and docile mother-in-law in the show, who is ruled by her husband and elder bahu Devika (Anita Hassanandani). It is an interesting role and quite opposite to what I played in Rabb Se Hai Dua. I like the story and the team is good and hard-working."
