Indian Idol 16 recently made headlines after rumours about judge Vishal Dadlani being dropped from the show started circulating on social media. However, the singer-composer has now broken his silence on the ongoing controversy. Vishal put an end to all the speculations by sharing a video from the sets of the singing reality show.

In the clip that he shared online, he first acted as if he was crying and then suddenly started laughing. He was heard saying, “Here I am, baby!”


He took to his Instagram account and shared the video, he captioned the video, “Remember not to trust anything you see online. There’s a whole lot of manipulation going on. Keep fighting the good fight, and saying what needs to be said!"



For the uninitiated, the rumours started after Vishal Dadlani shared a strong video online criticizing the handling of the NEET-UG paper leak case. Soon after, many social media pages claimed that the makers of Indian Idol had removed him from the judging panel because of his political comments.

As soon as Vishal shared the clip on his Instagram, his fans started dropping comments on the post. One of his fans wrote, “Serving fresh, much-needed wisdom, as always!” Another commented, “Bros roasting is on point.”

Indian Idol season 16 is judged by Vishal Dadlani, Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah. The upcoming episode will see AR Rahman and Vedang Raina making an appearance on the show to promote their upcoming film.
