Dheeraj initially lived in a 1 BHK before shifting to this 2.5 BHK just before marriage. Post their son Zayn’s birth, they tried moving into a bigger space but fate had other plans. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, Vinny joked, “We might want to leave this house, but the house might not want to leave us.” This home has embraced them, growing with their journey.

The nameplate of their door has Dheeraj, Vinny, Oreo and Zayn’s names. For Dheeraj and Vinny, their pet Oreo is their first baby. The couple adores him, prioritizing him over everything else. “Oreo comes first in our life, then Zayn,” Vinny shares. The warmth and love they have for their furry companion are evident as they cuddle him first whenever they come home, making sure he never feels left out.

Dheeraj played a major role in designing their home, adding his creative touches throughout. While professionals brought the vision to life, his choices reflect his personality. “We even gave it a facelift, and we don’t mind showing it off,” Vinny says. The home is an elegant blend of style, comfort, and personal expression.

The couple realized the value of a balcony during the lockdown. “Back then, stepping outside meant standing in the balcony,” Vinny recalls. Since then, it has become her favorite spot. Adding to its charm is an ‘Ek Omkar’ hanging, symbolizing peace and spirituality, a meaningful addition made during those uncertain times.

Their fridge is not just for utility but a canvas of memories. It is covered with magnets from their travels, each one holding sentimental value. Two magnets are particularly close to their hearts—one from their honeymoon trip to Disneyland, Hong Kong, and another from a revisit with Zayn after he turned one. The lower half of the fridge is reserved for Zayn’s alphabet and number magnets, making playtime screen-free.

A dedicated corner of their home houses Dheeraj’s awards, a testament to his hard work and success. “All of them are my favorites. These are milestones of my life,” he says. Vinny proudly admires his achievements, showcasing the immense love and respect she has for his journey in the industry.

The half-room in their home has been turned into a store room, much like Monica’s secret closet in Friends. It stores Zayn’s toys, winter wear, and luggage. Showing their bedroom, the cutest element in Vinny and Dheeraj’s bedroom is their wedding photo.

Meanwhile, Zayn’s room is warm and cozy, adorned with soft toys and blackout blinds for restful sleep. Miniature idols of Gods and Goddesses find a place too, ensuring cultural roots are instilled. “I didn’t like this room before, but now that it’s Zayn’s, I love it,” Vinny shares.
