Sumona Chakravarti, who has been part of The
Kapil Sharma Show ever since it first aired on television, has finally reacted to reports of her quitting the show for her travel-based series, Shonar Bengal.
While the actress is thrilled about her new project, she clarified in a recent interview that she is not quitting The Kapil Sharma Show and there are no plans of leaving it even in future.
Sumona revealed that the new show Shonar Bengal is just a month long commitment.
She added she chose to do it as she is a Bengali who loves to travel. She further said that the show has given her a chance to explore the folklore and history of Bengal, something she hasn't had the chance to experience firsthand.
The trailers of the show see Sumona experiencing everything Bengal has to offer.
In February, Sumona shared wonderful photos from her Himachal trip where she could be seen taking a dip in the pool, going on hikes and enjoying herself in the lap of nature. She also stayed at a stunning property that she couldn't stop raving about.
