Nakuul Mehta, who is seen as
Shivaansh
in the serial got emotional during the shoot. The actor shared that only a week was left for the shoot to wrap up.
Riding high on emotions, Nakuul shared a video where he can be seen saying, “Three years. It’s been a while. It’s been a crazy ride with all of you. We are shooting for this week.” The actor also welcomed fans to come and say ‘Hello’ to him on the sets and share a cup of espresso.
Earlier too, Nakuul had shared a long post announcing the show coming to an end.
To keep the viewers hooked on to the show, the makers recently introduced a generation leap. Retaining Nakuul Mehta, who turned from Shivaay to Shivaansh, his leading lady
Surbhi Chandna was replaced by Manjiri Pupala and then
Niti Taylor.
Even the rest of the cast including popular actors like Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Mansi Srivastava, Leenesh Mattto left the show post leap. This dampened the interest of the audience, and hence, led to further dip in the TRPs.
It is rumoured that the channel is planning to replace the show with Shaheer Sheikh's Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, a spin-off of the long running daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
