Jheel was in the news after she put up a video of her engagement to long-time boyfriend, Aditya Dube, who’s part of a gaming studio. Talking about her engagement, Jheel told us, “It was a surprise proposal and very romantic. We don’t plan to get married soon because we are focusing on our careers at the moment. I am happy that I have a companion like Aditya in my life.” The actress often posts travel stories with Aditya on her social media account.

Ask her why she quit showbiz after 2012 and she shared how she wanted to focus on her education. She said, "I quit Taarak Mehta in 2012 because I wanted to focus on my studies. Thereafter, I didn’t pursue acting because I was keen to become a make-up artiste. I ventured into the beauty profession with my mother and enjoy my career as a make-up artiste. Aditya works in a gaming studio, he's a 3D artist. He also makes gaming videos. He's passionate about food, dancing, movies and Formula 1."

Jheel had played the role of Aatmaram and Madhavi's daughter from the show’s inception in 2008 to 2012. Jheel also posts stories on fitness and make-up on her social media account. While Jheel is a make-up artist, her mother is a hairstylist.
