Kapi Narayan goes bananas

Kapi Narayan played by Saraansh Verma in Chidiyaghar, literally went bananas during one of the recent shoots on the set. He was informed that his track was being changed and that he will be transferred to a hostel for further studies in the show.Expectantly, the lad was very upset with this development as he had grown fond of the whole team. Kapi is the youngest son of Kesari Narayan and brother to Ghotak and Gomukh. His character resembles the characteristics of a monkey who cannot stay still at one place and keeps jumping all around the house. Says Kapi, “I was so confused all the while because on one hand, people were so serious, while on the other hand, the team members were clicking my pictures to capture my expressions. But then, finally Pareshji told me about the entire prank and we all had a hearty laugh about it.”The entire star cast and the unit of the Chidiyaghar participated in this prank and it looked so real that Kapi actually started saying goodbyes to the teams and had also booked train tickets to go back to his home town, Lucknow. Paresh Ganatra, one of the masterminds of the prank said, “Kapi is a very sweet boy and everyone on the set is very fond of him. Initially, just a couple of us participated in the plan but later on the entire unit participated and acted so well. But then we couldn’t drag it any further as he was really sad.”
