Kapil Sharma confirms his marriage in December; a look at his rare pictures with girlfriend Ginni Chatrath

Kapil Sharma is soon going to return to the small screen with the 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. However, that is not all. The popular comedian is also ready to settle down as he has confirmed the news of his wedding in December. Here's looking at some of his rare pictures with girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath.

Talking to IANS, Kapil said, "My mother has been saying that I should get married for a long time. Suddenly I realised that 'abhi age ho rahi hai' (I am getting on in age). So, I thought what if she says 'no' and after one or two years, and no one agrees to get married to me."

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the comedian will get married in his hometown, Amritsar. He was recently there to promote his new Punjabi film as well.

A friend close to Ginni and Kapil told Mirror, "It will be a four-day long, big, fat Punjabi wedding for which his friends from the film industry will be flying down to Punjab. He will be hosting a party in Mumbai later."

Kapil first opened up about his love life to the world in the month of March last year. Sharing his picture with Ginni, he wrote, "Will not say she is my better half . She completes me. Love u Ginni, please welcome her. I love her so much." (Photo: Twitter)

Kapil and Ginni have known each other for years. They fell in love while working together in the comedy show 'Has Baliye'. The show was judged by David Dhawan and Karishma Kapoor.

Professionally, Kapil confirmed his return to the small screen. He announced the news on Twitter and wrote, "Jalad wapas aa raha hoon ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ lekar aap ke liye sirf."

Kapil's last show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' wasn't received well by the viewers, and was taken off air in no time due to the comedian's ill health and cancellation of shoots.
