Karan Kundrra- Tejasswi Prakash’s dreamy love story: Becoming friends in Bigg Boss 15 to buying a house together in Dubai

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash have managed to become one of the most beloved TV couples of all time. From the sets of ‘Bigg Boss’, to meeting each other’s parents, living together, and purchasing Dubai apartments, they have surely come a long way in their relationship. Here is a look at the love bird’s story from the beginning.

The two were selected as contestants on ‘Bigg Boss’ season 15, and met each other for the first time. After Prakash won the main title, they kept in touch, and their friendship blossomed into something more. The two met each other again and again and built a bond. In an old Pinkvilla interview, the actress talked about the first time that the two of them went on a dinner date, sharing that “It was the first time we were out for dinner. Just the two of us. The night was a lot more about conversation, about a lot of things that he didn’t know about me, I didn’t know about him. It was a very, very special night.”

Early on in their relationship, Kundrra and Prakash started living together to see if they were a compatible match. Over the years, they have been very open about their relationship and have kept fans updated about their life. When the actress sat for an interview with Humans of Bombay, she revealed that it was her parents who encouraged them to move in together. She shared that “my parents were sure that I do. You have to live baaki kisi ka we don’t know, you better be sure because you are very fickle. My family was very sure that Karan and I live together, and so were his parents. Further on, she stated that she sometimes stays at his house, and sometimes at her house, depending on her filming schedule.

Last year, Kundrra opened up about how it was meeting Prakash’s family for the first time while talking on Bharti Singh’s podcast. He stated that “I sat with her parents for 30 minutes, after which her mom said, ‘You can take my daughter with you now.’ They are very sweet and simple people, even Tejasswi is very normal and down to earth. She is often very bossy, but her best quality is that she doesn’t get suppressed. You cannot dominate her. If I cannot explain to her the logic behind something, it won’t work. She is very street smart that way”.

The two of them started dating around 2022, though their relationship has not stopped them from working together. Instead, it has solidified their bond and chemistry on screen and has helped them become one of the most beloved TV couples. From working on the song ‘Baarish Aayi Hai’ together, to starring on the hit reality cooking show, ‘Laughter Chefs’, the two are continuously seen together on screen.

From meeting and becoming partners on the sets of ‘Bigg Boss’, to buying their dream house in Dubai, Kundrra and Tejasswi have officially come a long way. The couple currently owns 2 apartments in Dubai, worth Rs 2 crore each. Danube Properties reported back in 2022 that the couple had invested in the two flats in the City of Gold project. They even shared videos online at the time of the beloved Telly couple looking around the extravagant and lavish property together.

While when this will happen is not sure, the TV couple has surely talked about getting married and is open to the idea. While talking on Bharti Singh’s podcast, Prakash revealed that she wanted to get married soon after they started dating; however, it was her parents who encouraged her to take some time and see where the relationship goes before making such a decision about her life. Other than that she revealed that talks of their marriage are going on within the family, though she did not clarify if there were any solid plans.
