Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Amitabh Bachchan humorously shares husband woes, reveals wife Jaya scolds him over small things; says ‘Patni Ji bahut naaraz hone waali hai'
The recent episode of featured Ashutosh Singh from Vadodara, Gujarat. Ashutosh, a software developer, revealed that he joined the show in hopes of reconciling with his parents, who severed ties with him five years ago after he married a Brahmin girl. Host Amitabh Bachchan made a heartfelt appeal to Ashutosh’s parents, urging them to forgive the past and welcome their son and daughter-in-law back into their lives. stated, "Joh hum mein joh power hai, woh main mein nahi." The contestant talks about the special moments he spent with his father and the values he got from his mother.

Mr Bachchan says, "Aur ismein batane mein humko koi sakoch nahi hai ke jab college mein ghumte phirte the co-education hota tha wahan par (smiles). Aur mahilaon ke baaton se pata chalta tha ke yaar 6 Ft 2 inches hona chahiye. Aur tabse koshish mein lage the hum ke yaar badhao kisi tarah akarshit hojaaye hum."
(I have no hesitation in admitting that back in college, where there was co-education, I often overheard women saying that a man should be 6 feet 2 inches tall. From then on, I kept trying to somehow grow taller, hoping to become more attractive).
Big B inquired about Ashutosh's married life, to which Ashutosh replied that everything is going well. However, he mentioned that his wife is a cleanliness enthusiast, and some of his habits, like throwing wet towels on the bed, tend to irritate her. Mr Bachchan immediately connects with him and says, "Kya bolen sir itni sahi baat bol rahe hain aap. Patni ji bahut naraaz hone waali hai karyakram dekhne ke baad. Ghar ki baatein aap kyu bahar bolte hain, haan sir sorry aage boliye."
Ashutosh went on to mention that his wife is very conscious about saving electricity, and he often forgets to turn off the lights after using the bathroom.

Humare ghar mein agar aap kahin baithe hain, aur thodi der baar kahin jaana hua, aap toh chale jaayenge. Aapko bulaya jaayega wapas, aur poocha jaayega ye coushion joh hai jab aap baithe the toh kis jagah tha? wapas ussi jagah rakhiye. Koi bhi frame picture ka photo frame agar zara sa tedha hojaaye, bola jaayega, kab se dekh rahe hain isko sidha nahi kar sakte aap. Humko nahi dikh raha yaar, frame hai yaar sab bacchon ki tasveerein hain, kya hai usmein, nahi usko aise hona chahiye. Phir uske upar aadhe ghante ka lecture hoga.. Kabhi bhi argument nahi karyega."
