Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Contestant Pranati makes host Amitabh Bachchan fill out his marriage profile form; the latter says ‘Hamari shaadi ho chuki hai’
In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, Pranati Paidipati’s game continues. She uses video call a friend lifeline for Rs 3,20,000 question: In June 2024, which semiconductor giant surpassed Microsoft to become the world’s most valuable public company? A. Qualcomm, B. Nvidia, C. Intel, D. ASML.
She uses Dugnaastra button. However, she is not able to use the power as she uses the lifeline. With the help, she correctly answers option B.
Big B asks Pranati about how she met her husband. She said, “We met online through WhatsApp. Our father’s had shared our profiles on a WhatsApp group and he liked the profile and then we met.”
Pranati asks Big B, “What would you write had you had to make a profile?” Big B replies, “Meri shaadi ho chuki hai, mujhe nahi banwana hai profile.”
Then a profile is being created for Big B, which he fills.
In Super Sandook, she wins R 80,000 and revives her Video Call a Friend lifeline.
She uses lifeline for Rs 12,50,000 question: What is celebrated on the 10th of April every year to commemorate the birth of Dr Samuel Hahnemann? A. World Homeopathy Day, B. World Surgery Day, C. World Vaccination Day, D. World Alzheimer’s Day.
She doesn’t get help and decides to use Double Dip lifeline. She first goes for option A and it turns out to be correct one.
Her question for Rs 25 lakh is: In 1778, an island in the Nicobar Islands was named ‘Teressa’ or ‘Theresia’ in honour of a queen of which empire? A. Dutch, B. Napoleonic, C. Russian, D. Habsburg.
She decides to quit the game and takes home Rs 12,50,000. She goes for option A but correct answer is option D.
Naman Jain is the second contestant to take the hotseat. He is from Madhya Pradesh and is preparing for UPSC.
Big B reveals that Naman’s presence has been for a special purpose. A video montage on him is shown. It is shown that Naman took an education loan and with this money he wins in KBC, he will clear it. Naman says, “The self dependency came from my father. It’s not like we are not financially stable, but I want to pay it by myself. I have also worked in the corporate sector and cleared almost half of it and half of it is left. I took a loan of Rs 15 lakh.”
He plays the game till Rs 5000 and becomes rollover contestant.
