The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 began with rollover contestant Harsha Upadhyay, an arts and crafts teacher from Gujarat, who walked away with Rs 12,50,000 along with a bonus amount of Rs 80,000. After Harsha's exit, host Amitabh Bachchan conducted another Fastest Finger First round, and Rashami Kumari from Ranchi, Jharkhand secured her spot on the hot seat. However, after Big B announced her name, Rashami remained seated, thinking the host had mistakenly called the wrong name. As soon as she sat on the hot seat, Big B joked, "Humein laga naam humne sahi liya hai ke nahi, please rona nahi, nahi toh humari naukari lag jaayegi." Rashami shared that she had been trying to be on the show since 2000 and finally her dreams have come true.
Rashami opened up about her life, telling the audience that she works at a bank and always aspired to have a career rather than just being confined to the role of a housewife. She revealed that when she first started working, she was the only woman in her family and entire town with a job. Although her elders in the family initially opposed her decision, over time, they came to understand the importance of being self-reliant.

The contestant shared her childhood love for reading comics, revealing that as a kid, she would hide comic books inside her schoolbooks and read them, often getting scolded for it. She said, "I’ve read so many comic books, especially superhero ones, but one hero and comic that used to be my absolute favorite was 'Supremo'. Among all the superheroes, he had a unique quality. Acting during the day and in the evening... (hinting at Mr. Bachchan) Sir, that superhero was you. You were a hero then, and you’re still a hero today."
Big B interrupted with a playful comment, saying, "I wonder who that was? I, too, was very fond of reading comic books as a child—more so than going to school! But back in those days, Chacha Chaudhary wasn’t around..."
Rashami manages to clear the first Padhaav without any difficulty and wins Rs 10,000.
