Kaun Banega Crorepati 17: Amitabh Bachchan's special performance on the finale night; sings non-stop for 32 Minutes
In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, host Amitabh Bachchan welcomed the audience for one last time.as the season comes to an end. The quiz show entertained fans for five months with life lessons, interesting anecdotes from Big B's life and episodes that changed contestant's lives. However, before bidding adieu to fans, host Amitabh Bachchan took it upon himself to give them a non-stop 30 minutes singing concert. The megastar decided to cheer up the entire studio by singing for over 32 minutes, turning the finale into a massive celebration of the show.
Before starting the concert, the makers played a specially curated AV which captured the journey, stories, and emotional highs of the season. The film left contestants, audiences, and even Mr. Bachchan visibly moved and extremely emotional.
To lift everyone's spirits, Big B decided to present a 32 minutes impromptu singing performance. Amitabh Bachchan sang continuously, as the audience rose to its feet, clapping, cheering, and singing along with him. The megastar not only sang popular songs but also gave many references from his personal life.
He sang some of his timeless favourites like “Hori Khele Raghuveera” from Baghban, “Rang Barse Bheege Chunarwali” from Silsila, “Chalat Musafir” from Teesri Kasam, and “Mere Angne Mein” from Laawaris, and also a special traditional song. He also sang a special song which was written by his father Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
While singing the line “jiski biwi chhoti” from Mere Angne Mein, he joked that the line was personal to him and said he would sing it just for himself, adding with a laugh that otherwise it could lead to an argument at home.
As Kaun Banega Crorepati prepares to bid farewell to another memorable season, this extraordinary 32-minute musical moment stands as a testament to why Amitabh Bachchan remains not just the face of the show, but it's beating heart.
