The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 started with rollover contestant Aarti Sharma from Amritsar, Punjab. Host Amitabh Bachchan talks about Navratri's 9 days and the significance of the festival. He also informs the audience of their different festivals that are celebrated in South India during these 9 days. Big B praises Aarti's academic background, who currently works as a Economics tutor.
Mr. Bachchan starts the game for the day and presents a question for Rs 3,00,000. According to the Valmiki Ramayana, on which part of Rishyamukha mountain was sugriva dwelling? As she is unaware of the answer, Aarti takes 'Audience Poll' lifeline's help. She selects Option B) Malay and it is the correct answer.
After answering the Rs 5,00,000 questions correctly, Aarti plays Super Sandook. She manages to answer 6 questions correctly and earns Rs 60,000. She decides to revive her 'Audience Poll' lifeline with the money.
