Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, will feature contestant Mitkumar Thakrar revealing that he did not get married because of KBC, a revelation that leaves both the audience and Big B surprised. He reveals, "KBC aane ka try 25 saal se kar raha hoon. Maine shaadi nahi ki… ab maine seriously le liya hai. Pehle hot seat par baithunga, uske baad ghodi par.” The confession leaves the audience in splits, prompting Amitabh Bachchan to respond with his signature wit.


Referring to another hopeful contestant, Big B quips, “Joh pehla aadmi aaya tha aapse milne, woh bhi yahin baitha tha, bilkul aisi hi ummeed ke saath.” When Meetkumar adds that the man is now married, Big B instantly fires back, “Sir, woh toh shaadi-shuda hai!”

KBC 17 recently welcomed Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan as the guests on the hot seat. Together they managed to earn Rs 12,50,000 which they donated for their respective charities.

In the chat with Big B, Ananya shared how how her family has been obsessed with KBC ever since it first aired 25 years ago.

Ananya revealed, “When my grandparents come from Delhi, we have a special ritual at home that from Monday to Friday, we sit with them and watch KBC. The whole family sits together and watches the show. ” Big B chimes, “and when they leave?”

Ananya says, “No, I watch it.” Further to her chat with Big B, she also revealed, “I think it wasn't just my dream; it was the collective dream of the Panday family that at least one person should go to Kaun Banega Crorepati, and luckily, I was the first, and I made it.”
