Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai fame Kushagre Dua on Mother's Day: Having a senior police officer as a mother brings unique pride
Kushagre Dua currently winning hearts for his role as Vikrant "Vicky" Thakur in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai, a spin-off of the iconic series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The actor acknowledged his mother, Mrs. Chander Kanta, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in the Delhi Police for her role and support in building his career.
He said, "Having a senior police officer as a mother brings unique pride. She is my inspiration and superwoman, viewing her as strong, dedicated figure who successfully and very easily balance protecting the community with raising us and taking care of family. She's always committed to her duty, the demands that comes with her post such as late-night emergency calls, high-risk assignments, and long working hours but still she makes sure to spend time with us and make us feel loved. There is a lot I'm yet to learn from her. She raised with high discipline, but always motivated me to live a life and achive my dreams."
Sharing ahead he continues, "I'm thankful to her for providing a foundation for a happy life by teaching essential, long-lasting values like resilience, kindness, and self-love. Her guidance likely emphasizes independence, gratitude, and nurturing strong connections, which experts identify as core pillars for lasting happiness and mental wellness."
Kushagre mentioned that is his mother's teachings helping him to overcome challenges in the dream city, Mumbai.
He shared, "She made me hardworking, never give up attitude, she raised me with a lot of good teachings and the ability to navigate complex challenges, though I have tweaked few things in my life with keeping her values my primary agenda which is why I'm more of a street smart. I would thank her for ultimately preparing me for both personal and professional success."
Talking about celebrating Mother's Day, observed on the second Sunday of May he revealed, "She is in the capital and I'm in mumbai and both of us are busy with our commitments and cannot afford off from our work. That's why like everyday we will connect on video call. I will surprise her with a cake, flowers and sweets."
Kushagre is known for featuring in shows like Beendani: Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri, Campus Diaries Season 2, Naagin 7, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Bohot Pyaar Karte Hai, Divya Drishti among others.
