'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' opens on a warm note as Ritik and Munni's reconciliation takes a sweet turn. Samira asks the couple to pose for photos, and Ritik lifts Munni in his arms as the two get lost in each other's eyes. He kisses her forehead in a moment that is quiet and completely genuine. Samira captures everything and suggests posting the photos on social media. Munni admits she does not have an account, and Ritik steps in to activate one for her, tagging her in the post. The moment of happiness, however, has an unintended casualty.
Mitali's plan unravels
Mitali, who had been pursuing a competition by hiding her marital status, is disqualified when the organisers get hold of the real information and confront her directly. She tries to talk her way out of it, telling them she does not look married and asking them to focus on her talent instead. The organiser is unmoved and threatens to file a case if she does not leave. When Mitali sees Ritik's Instagram post with Munni, she immediately realises that his account activity led the organisers to her. She tells her friend that she had deleted all her information and that Ritik's post has cost her the competition. She vows not to spare him.
Gautam and Nakul reach a breaking point
The episode's most emotionally charged thread belongs to Gautam and his fractured family. Damini tells Gautam plainly to stop making efforts because he has disappointed Nakul one too many times. Nakul confronts his father directly, reminding him that he broke ties with his own parents and that he has no right to demand loyalty in return. Gautam tries to reason with Nakul, pointing out that travelling to the US is not safe given the current situation, but Nakul turns that argument on its head, pointing out that Gautam himself once went abroad to study. The conversation ends with Nakul telling Gautam he is done, and Damini quietly reinforcing every word. Gautam is left alone with the weight of a memory: the moment he misbehaved with his own mother, and how she chose to support him anyway. The regret is visible and total.
Karan and Mihir: a quiet plan takes shape
Karan meets Mihir and is thanked for his role in bringing Tulsi back. Karan gives all the credit to Gautam, and Mihir reveals that Tulsi told him everything. Karan admits it was not easy for him to call Gautam, saying he is soft like his mother. Mihir asks him about the rivalry between him and Gautam, and Karan tells him that everything can be sorted out, but it needs time. Mihir then makes a request: go to Bangalore, meet Gautam, and convince him to come home. Karan hesitates, saying Gautam does not like him, but Mihir pushes him to try, telling him it would be the greatest surprise he could give Tulsi. Karan agrees, saying he can do anything for Mihir's happiness, but asks for at least two days. Mihir ultimately holds back from sending Karan, deciding to wait a little longer.
Indrani's proposal and Sanjana's demand
Indrani visits Sanjana's family with a marriage proposal for Ajay and Sanjana. Sanjana has no objection to accepting Sunny as her son, but things take a complicated turn when she learns about Pari. Ajay explains that Pari is his ex-wife and that they are good friends. Sanjana does not accept this. She tells Ajay that while she is willing to accept Sunny, she is not comfortable with Pari remaining in his life and demands that he cut ties with her. Ajay tells her he is ready to do so. Sanjana, however, is not ready to move forward yet, leaving the proposal in an uncertain place.
Angad crosses the line he never wanted to cross
The episode's most gut-wrenching sequence unfolds in Jamshedpur. Vrinda meets Angad privately and tells him that if throwing a stone at her is what it takes for him to get the job and stay close to the factory, then she is ready to bear the pain. Angad refuses, but Vrinda reminds him of everything at stake: the factory losses, their family, their shared goal. She tells him they can only achieve their targets together and asks him not to give up.
When the workers break into a protest, Vrinda steps out to face them directly, trying to calm the crowd. Miku signals Angad, and the moment arrives. Angad moves slowly, torn apart from the inside, and then Vrinda does something that seals his decision: she walks toward him, knowing what is coming, permitting him. He has no choice left. He attacks her. The crowd erupts. Management moves in. Miku Dada is impressed.
The aftermath is immediate and messy. Vrinda refuses to file a police complaint, telling the officers she does not want to stretch the matter between the company and the workers. Nandu slaps Angad in public. The manager pushes for an arrest. Through all of it, Vrinda holds the line. Nandu then pulls Miku aside and tells him the real truth: Vikrant has engineered the entire situation, and the factory itself may be at risk. Miku listens and calls off the protest.
But the moment that lands hardest comes after all the noise has died down. Angad, alone, begins hurting himself because he cannot live with what he did to Vrinda. She stops him, holds him still, and tells him not to weaken. She tells him they are always together, that they can face anything side by side, and that she is fine. Angad cries and promises to stay with her. The moment is broken when Nandu's wife spots them together, and Vrinda slips away quietly before anyone can ask questions.
Precap: Tulsi learns that Noina has blood cancer and that Noina's last wish is to become Mihir's wife.
