Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: Mihir accepts Vrinda as his daughter-in-law
The latest episode begins with Mihir learning that Akshay and Madhavi are Angad’s children. Mihir is still in a state of shock and asks Akshay directly about his father’s identity. When the child boldly answers, “Angad Virani,” Mihir is taken aback.
Mihir’s memories come flooding back, especially a conversation he had with Vrinda about how her in-laws rejected her.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay catches sight of the children and realizes that Vrinda is Angad’s wife and the same therapist who is trying to enter Shantiniketan. He asks her questions and demands that she take off her face mask. Mihir defends her, and Ranvijay makes a provocative comment about Mihir never having seen her face.
Angered, Mihir seizes Ranvijay by the collar and tells him to keep his distance from his daughter-in-law and grandchildren. In a strong statement, Mihir accepts Vrinda as Angad’s wife and states that Ranvijay is the only stranger in the house.
Mihir understands the gravity of his previous errors and apologizes to Vrinda. He states that he did not know the truth, which was inadvertently exposed by the children. Describing his previous rejection as his greatest regret, he states that he did not give a proper welcome to Goddess Lakshmi in his house.
In a very emotional episode, Mihir conducts an aarti and welcomes Vrinda and the children to Shantiniketan. He asks her to enter the house with all rights and perform the rituals of a daughter-in-law, which is an emotional moment for everyone in the house.
Mihir asks Angad to return to Shantiniketan, but Angad refuses. He says that things are no longer the same. Since Tulsi is no longer living there, he does not feel that he is home anymore. For him, home is wherever his mother is.
Tulsi tries to convince him, but Angad refuses, stating that he cannot be happy anywhere else. Vrinda silently agrees with him. Mihir understands the emotions of the family and tells Tulsi not to pressure them anymore. He understands that she has earned the love and respect that she is getting now and leaves.
As the episode comes to a close, Tulsi prays for the brothers to be reunited Angad, Rithik, Gautam, and Karan and live together in peace in Shantiniketan.
