The latest episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi begins with Tulsi’s friends congratulating her for successfully planning her son Angad’s engagement during Diwali. The celebration continues as Mitali takes a selfie with Angad, who looks clearly annoyed. She then asks the photographer to click their picture. Meanwhile, Suchu asks Noina if she has spoken to Mihir. Noina says Mihir has been acting strangely and decides that, from now on, she will focus on his happiness.
Noina goes to Mihir to wish him for Diwali. She tells him that she wants to celebrate every Diwali with him, but Mihir suddenly walks away without saying a word. At the same time, Pari begins organizing Angad’s engagement and hints that a surprise is on the way. Soon after, Mitali starts dancing to a Bollywood item number and asks Angad to join her. Though hesitant at first, Angad joins her on the dance floor. During their performance, Angad imagines Mitali as Vrinda. Pari notices them and praises Angad for showing so much affection. However, Angad soon snaps back to reality and leaves mid-performance.
Mitali then announces that the next dance will feature her aunt, Noina, and Mihir. Mihir refuses at first, but Mitali convinces him to join. While Mitali goes to get water, her voice suddenly changes, as if someone else is speaking through her. Maharaj ji notices this strange behaviour and looks worried.
Meanwhile, Mihir and Noina perform together on stage. After some time, Mihir leaves the stage and asks everyone to join the dance. Seeing Tulsi alone, Noina tells Suchu that it is the perfect time to speak with her. She decides to tell Tulsi the truth.
Noina takes Tulsi aside for a private talk. When Tulsi suggests they go to the terrace, Noina hesitates but says she must speak her heart out. Noina tells Tulsi to be strong and not to take her words the wrong way. She then reveals that Mihir once confessed his love to her when they were in the USA. Tulsi is shocked, but Noina insists she just wanted to be honest. As Noina recalls Mihir’s exact words, “I love you,” Tulsi suddenly starts laughing.
Meanwhile, Mihir looks for Tulsi and Noina and asks Suchu where they are. Suchu lies, saying Noina is on a call and Tulsi is in the kitchen. When Mihir tries to leave, she stops him for a selfie.
Later, Tulsi calls Hemant and tells Noina that Hemant and his brother were behind the entire confusion. A flashback shows Hemant overhearing Noina’s plan to ruin Tulsi and Mihir’s marriage. He and Mihir then decided to prank her in return. Tulsi is furious at Hemant and scolds him for taking things too far.
