Lakshmi Niwas actor Akshita Mugdal’s this year’s Makar Sankranti is extremely special; here’s why

Makar Sankranti is a festival of joy, hope, happiness, and peace. The sky is filled with kites, and stomachs are filled with tilgul ladoos and peanuts chikki. While everyone has their share of reasons why they love Makar Sankranti, Lakshmi Niwas actor Akshita Mugdal, who plays Radhika in the same show, reveals that this year's Makar Sankranti is going to be extremely special for her for one big reason.

While Akshita loves Makar Sankranti, she states that this year’s Makar Sankranti is extremely special as her newly launched show Lakshmi Niwas aired on 12 January, just two days before Makar Sankranti. Akshita shares, “Makar Sankranti represents happiness, optimism, and bliss. What can be more auspicious than our show, Lakshmi Niwas, airing just two days before Makar Sankranti, that is, on the 12th of January. I sincerely hope that, as Makar Sankranti begins the arrival of bright and happy days, Lakshmi Niwas brings happiness and positivity in everyone’s life."

Talking about the celebrations, she said, "I enjoy each aspect of this auspicious occasion, from the delicious homemade dishes to the sky full of colourful kites, and then the lovely sight of everyone becoming kids once again as they shout with joy as soon as they see their kite soaring high or cutting another kite. Makar Sankranti is the occasion that fills everyone's life with happiness and laughter.”
