'Laughter Chefs 3's Jannat Zubair: I'm missing a lot of people this season like Reem, Ankita di, Vicky bhaiya, and Nia, We made some incredible memories
‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ returns with its trademark mix of food, fun, and full-on dinnertainment. This season opens the rasoi to both familiar favourites and new faces, powered by Bharti Singh’s iconic humour and guided by Celebrity Chef Coach Harpal Singh Sokhi. The star lineup—Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Debina Bonnerjee, Gurmeet Choudhary, Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, Abhishek Kumar, Samarth Jurel, Elvish Yadav, Isha Malviya, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, Aly Goni and Jannat Zubair—promises laughter, rivalry, and the most entertaining kitchen chaos. Because here, it’s never about perfect plating; it’s about joy, togetherness, and moments that feel like home.
As Jannat Zubair puts it, stepping into this kitchen feels like joining a family that learns, laughs, and bonds beyond the food, while she opens up about the new season’s vibe, teams, and full-on dinnertainment. She promises that this time, the rasoi is set to deliver bigger emotions, bigger fun, and moments you won’t forget.
What sets this season of ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ apart from the previous one?
This season is honestly on another level! The kitchen has always been chaotic, but this time it feels like the flame has been turned all the way up. After two superhit seasons, the show is back and it's bigger, crazier, and spicier. We have new jodis and new teams, including our very own team Kaanta and team Churri, who are ready to bring their spark, speed, and full-on fun to the kitchen. You’ll see lovebirds, best friends, frenemies, reality-show rivals, and complete first-time cooks all trying to survive the same rasoi. Trust me, the kitchen has never seen this much teasing, tasting, tantrums, teamwork, and glamour. What I truly love is that it’s still not about being the best chef, it’s about chemistry, confusion, last-minute disasters, and those moments where the dish might fail but the laughter always wins.
How excited are you to cook food with your partner Aly Goni?
I’m genuinely thrilled! Cooking with Aly is a challenge – for him! He’s focused, steady, and really serious about getting things right. And now that we are partners, I feel like I genuinely have a shot at winning the most stars this season because Aly cooks well. We have this Tom-and-Jerry style comfort where we’ll argue over something silly and then laugh the very next minute.
Do you miss anyone from the previous season?
I’m missing a lot of people this season such as Ankita di, Vicky bhaiya, and Nia. We have made some incredible memories together. But the person I miss the most is Reem. She’s not just a friend; she’s like my sister, and she was my partner in Season 1. We understood each other without even speaking. I hope she comes back soon to the show.
Who are the better chefs – the old ones or the new ones?
The old ones come with experience and their own set of tricks, while the new ones bring fresh energy and full confidence, so it’s a great mix. Every laughter chef has a distinct flavour of comedy, and when we’re in the kitchen, everyone’s strengths shine in different ways. This season, the rasoi is going to heat up with healthy competition, playful challenges, and moments where we’re all trying to outdo each other, but in the end, we always end up laughing together.
Do you treat your family to something that you have cooked?
Yes! I treat them now. Earlier, if I even walked near the kitchen, everyone would say, ‘Arre rehne do, leave it.’ But after Laughter Chefs, it’s completely flipped now they’re like, ‘Jannat, make that pasta from Season 1, that paratha you learned, and that dessert too!’ Every star I win on the show becomes a dish my family demands at home. So, I’ve started cooking a lot more, especially for my mom and Ayaan. And when they approve, it genuinely feels like I’ve won a mini trophy at home.
What difference has the show made to your life?
Before this show, my culinary expertise was limited to Maggi, Ramen and coffee. But now? I’ve leveled up! I can cook pav bhaji and jalebi and many more. More importantly, this show has changed the way I see food. This show has genuinely taught me to slow down. I live a very fast-paced life shoots, travel, content, meetings but cooking forces you to be present. Cooking has given me a new appreciation for every ingredient, every effort that goes into making a meal. And honestly, every celeb on this show is my unpaid therapist.
What message would you like to give your fans and viewers who will be watching you this season?
Expect fun, chaos, emotions, and some burnt rotis. But more than anything, come to enjoy the vibe. This show is about being yourself, laughing with your family, and making memories. We have many new faces joining us this season, so please welcome them with the same love you showed us when we first came here. This time, expect twists, surprises, and a whole lot of glamour ka tadka.
If you could describe your journey on Laughter Chefs in one line, what would it be?
It’s a place where I don’t have to be perfect, I just get to be me and that’s the best feeling in the world.
