Madhuri, Terence and Bosco spill the beans on 'So You Think You Can Dance'

The stage is set for the Indian edition of 'So You Think You Can Dance'. It’s a battle of Street v/s Stage and the buck stops at nothing when it comes to proving one’s supremacy on the dance floor. An expression, a move, a beat or even a small mistake won’t go unnoticed by Madhuri Dixit, Terence Lewis or Bosco Martis — the esteemed judges on the show. Let’s see what the judges have to say as 'So You Think You Can Dance… Ab India Ki Baari' goes on air tonight at 8.30 only on &TV.

Madhuri Dixit, one of the judges on the show says, “The best part of taking up a show of such calibre is the fact that it brings forth exceptional talent from across nook and cranny of the country.Street vs Stage is exciting and something to watch out for.” She continues, “Each contestant comes with a story which is so full of passion that it will move you… and being a dancer myself, I can relate to this passion. Dance is a
spiritual experience for me that leads to happiness. And this is the happiness I see in the contestants, too.”

When we caught up with Terence and Bosco, both the dancers had some interesting things to say on how they would judge the contestants.
Terence Lewis:
When I watched the show years ago, it was so engaging that it raised the expectations for me as a dancer. I have been inspired by it and ever since, I have tried to present various styles in my performances. Like many of the contestants, I have also come from a very humble family and that has not stopped me from reaching where I am on merit. So for me, I will be judging the contestants on their hunger to learn and perform.”

Bosco Martis:
“'So You Think You Can Dance' is an international brand that I feel proud to be associated with. Stage vs Street is going to be an epic battle with the kind of talent that has participated in it. When I started, we didn’t have a formal training or a teacher to go back to. We just improvised watching some international videos. But the kids these days are learning fast. They have access to a lot of things through the internet and they are utilising it well. So many participants on the show are self-trained. I truly want to be inspired by them.”
