Manav Gohil: Eijaz and I have been friends for 15 years, we acted in a film together

Actor Manav Gohil, who is currently seen in Kaamna, recently shared a picture with his Eijaz Khan on social media. It seemed that the two actors had caught up for a cup of coffee and exchanged notes after a long time. Both the actors were wearing their glasses and Manav captioned it: I was so relieved when you too pulled out your reading glasses. ख़ैर मना रहा हूँ की उम्र साथ में क़ाबिल हो रही है। We should do this more often brother (sic).

In a candid chat, when we spoke to Manav about the post, he said, "Eijaz and I go a long way. We met on the sets of Dharmesh Darshan's film almost 15 years ago and became friends. We were both acting in the film and that is another story that the film hasn't released yet! But we did many adventurous things together. We had gone to shoot for the movie in Goa and there we tried many stunts and participated in many adventurous activities. Over the years, we haven't been able to meet often but we have constantly stayed in touch. So a few days back, I decided to meet Eijaz and we both caught up after a long time. And since I always wear glasses, I was happy to see that he also wore his reading glasses when we wanted to read something. I was relieved that just like me, my friend also has glasses now and we have both grown older gracefully!"

Eijaz is currently in a relationship with Pavitra Punia. The two got close when they did Bigg Boss 14. Manav added, "Both Shweta (Kawaatra) and I are very happy that Eijaz has finally found his ground and anchor in Pavitra. All these years, I used to worry about him but now I am happy that he has found a partner and companion that he had always wanted."

Meanwhile, Manav's wife Shweta and daughter Zahra-Tabeetha are currently in US for a summer camp and the actor hoped to join them soon. He says, "I am hoping to join them soon. It will be a refreshing break."
