Mohammed Iqbal Khan, who was last seen in Na Umra Ki Seema Ho, is delighted to shoot for his upcoming project in his hometown,
Jammu and Kashmir, India.
He shared, "Shooting in my hometown is always amazing. The place where you spent your childhood is always like heaven, and Kashmir is called heaven on earth (Jannat-e-Kashmir). I have shot in Kashmir a couple of times before this also and I have realised that every time I come for a shoot I get to see places that I have never been."
"I usually stay back for a couple of days after the shoot but this time because of prior commitment I won’t be able to do that. For some strange reason I always shoot in Kashmir during winters and my parents in winters go to Jammu due to severe cold. So I don’t get to see them," he added.
The actor frequently expresses his fondness for his hometown and has shared nostalgic memories of his time there, including visiting for family events and vacations. Khan has a deep love for his home state of Jammu and Kashmir, often reminiscing about his childhood, its culture, and the warmth of its people, while also expressing concern for the region and hoping for peace. He cherishes the hospitality of his relatives, the simple joys of his youth like playing in the snow, and his family's strong ties to the region. He is proud of his Kashmiri heritage and finds the culture and simplicity of the region welcoming.
On professional front Iqbal is best known for his roles in Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai, Tumhari Pakhi, Kahiin To Hoga, Karam Apnaa Apnaa, Sanjog Se Bani Sangini, Nima Denzongpa among others. Apart from television he also featured in series like Crackdown, Commander Karan Saxena among others.
