After Charu and Rajeev parted ways, Charu had been taking care of their daughter on her own. The actress has often shared the struggles of being a single mother and managing work. Recently, Charu decided to relocate to Bikaner owning to an expensive lifestyle in Mumbai. She has quit the TV Industry and chosen to continue with her home-bound business.

Dalljiet Kaur has a lovely son Jaydon, after going through two traumatic divorces, Dalljiet continues to nurture her son with all the love. The actress recently relocated to Pune and has been working towards building her production house. Dalljiet hasn't completely left the acting business, but she prefers to do flexible roles.

Fans who had expected Nisha Rawal and Karan Mehra to have a happy ever after were taken aback by their marital problems. In June 2021, Nisha filed a complaint against Karan, accusing him of domestic violence and having an adulterous affair. Their separation and divorce battle became increasingly nasty by the day. They have a son, Kavish, who currently lives with Nisha. While the two are fighting for custody of their baby, Nisha is raising the child on her own.

Shweta Tiwari, who is the mother to Reyansh and Palak, had once shared her thoughts on the institution of marriage with BT and opened up about single parenting. After going through two difficult marriages with Raja Choudhary and Abhinav Kohli, Shweta said, “I don’t believe in the institution of marriage. In fact, I even tell my daughter not to get married. It’s her life and I don’t dictate to her how to lead it, but I want her to think well before taking the plunge. Just because you are in a relationship, it doesn’t have to culminate into marriage. Life mein shaadi karna bahut zaoori hai aur shaadi ke bina zindagi kaise chalegi yeh nahi hona chahiye.”

Juhi has been raising her daughter Samaira on her alone since she separated from Sachin Shroff. She has also spoken openly about her experiences as a single mother and the difficulties she has encountered. Juhi had shared in a podcast that she credits her parents for being there for her daughter as initially, she couldn't give much time to her due to the work schedules.

As a domestic abuse survivor, Chahatt has been parenting her two daughters on her own. She has also discussed her experience becoming a single mother and the challenges she has experienced.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay's OG Komolika has been parenting her two twin sons alone. The actress married at the age of 17 and had twin boys when she was only 18. She left her spouse after only a year and a half of marriage and has since been caring for her sons. During her relationship with Anuj Sachdeva, the actress never felt the need to marry.

Achint Kaur, who rose to prominence alongside Jamai Raja, is a single mother to her son, Preetranjan. The actress married when she was 18. But the couple split up due to compatibility concerns. Her son was about 5-6 years old when she divorced, and she has been caring for him ever since. Achint also had a 16-year live-in relationship with actor and host Mohan Kapoor, which ended a few years ago.
