My mom is my strength, says Arjun Bijlani
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, television actor Arjun Bijlani, opened up about the person who has been his anchor at every step of his journey. The actor shares a close bond with his mother and credits her as his strength. Bijlani has been a part of shows like Naagin 3, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi and Pyar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti, where he left the audience awestruck with his performance, and is currently seen in the third season of Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment.
Talking about his bond with his mom, he shares, “My mom is my strength. She has been both my mother and father. She has always stood by me and supported me through every phase of my life. She is my biggest cheerleader and has shaped the person that I am today.” He shared that his mother has taught him the biggest lesson of life and always advised, ‘To stay strong no matter what life throws at you and to always keep going with a smile.’
Arjun grew up seeing his mother as a multitasker and all-rounder. He further adds, “She used to handle everything on her own after we lost my dad. She did everything by herself, never letting us feel the weight she carried. That strength and selflessness made me who I am today. I enjoy whatever she cooks; it’s not just food, it’s pure love. I’m truly blessed to have her.” Arjun, however, confessed that her selflessness also made him realize his responsibilities towards his family. He said, “I truly understood how much she did for us. It is unconditionally done.” He confessed that he regrets not saying “thank you” and “I love you” enough to her. But he added, “Every day is Mother’s Day for me; it’s about celebrating her strength, love, and everything she’s done for me and Niranjan. To the woman who became everything for us, Happy Mother’s Day, Mom.”
