, he says, “I got a call from the production house and they wanted to see my earlier auditions. I sent them my audition clips in February and bagged the role. My character named

Badal

is a mumma’s boy and he helps her out in a cafe.”

Anmol

says that he never wanted to do a TV show and it was his mother who encouraged him. “I wasn’t interested in doing a daily soap because I’ve never watched them, barring one or two. Even before this, I had been offered daily soaps, but I never took them up. However, the story of Apanapan was good and my mother was very keen, so I took it up. My mom wants to see me daily on television!” he says.

Every day is a new learning day for Anmol on the sets. He says, “I am still trying to figure out how things work, it has been just a few days since I started shooting. There is a big difference between working for a daily show and working for a film or web show. One has to make sure they are present on the set for a close-up shot whereas it’s different to work on a film set. I see that actors here learn their lines on the spot. I feel that those who are part of TV are technically quite sound.”
