Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh are 'grateful' as they share core 2025 memories from their podcast: 'We’ve learned along the way'

Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh are proud parents of Sufi and Rumi. Together, the couple started the popular podcast ‘The Indian Parent Pod.’ It explores the emotional realities of parenthood. It focuses on personal growth and relationship changes. It shows the daily struggles of raising a child without expert advice. As the year wrapped up, they have shared the core memories of their podcast.

The couple took Instagram to share the meaningful moments they had this year. They captioned the post, “Looking back at some of our favourite TIPP moments so far. Grateful for the community, the conversations, and everything we’ve learned along the way.”


They shared how they started the podcast, “In between a hard week of parenting, we decided 'we won't do this alone anymore'. That's where the seed of the podcast was born.”

In the next post, they revealed how they named their podcast channel, “We searched for the right name. And then our friend, Dan Sait gave us. The 'Indian' Parent Pod. Because parenting is universal Yet deeply rooted in where we come from.” They also shared a glimpse of their first shoot and many other crucial moments.

Welcoming their daughter Rumi

This also stands as one of the core memories for the couple. Nakuul and Jankee welcomed their second child on August 15. A baby girl named Rumi. The couple shared the joyful news through a joint post on Instagram. The carousel featured their son Sufi holding his newborn sister. Meanwhile, another picture showed Nakuul gazing lovingly at his baby girl. It was followed by a moment captured just before Jankee gave birth.

Alongside the pictures, Nakuul wrote an emotional caption, which said, “She’s here. Sufi finally has his Rumi. Our hearts are complete. 15th August 2025. Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”



They started ‘The Indian Parent Pod’ in early 2025. By now, they have a total 57.4K followers on Instagram. They are also the winners of the Best Social Impact Podcast of the year at the MOMS League Global Awards 2025.
