tied the knot on national television on this day (January 17) three years ago.
The couple got married in the tenth season of reality show
Bigg Boss. Monalisa and Vikrant were in a relationship, when the former participated in the reality show. The makers decided to get them married.
Monalisa shared a couple of videos from their wedding day and wrote, “Here’s To Another Year Of Togetherness.... “Happy 3rd Wedding Anniversary To Us “
The couple was intending to get married after the show, but when the makers wanted Vikrant to pop the question in the show, he couldn’t say no. Vikrant had then said, “I was instantly kicked about it as Mona and I had decided to take our relationship to the next level. Luckily, people at Bigg Boss knew about it and they asked me If I would like to marry Mona on national television. I think I am very lucky that I am marrying Mona on a such a big platform and I am thankful to the makers."
Monalisa and Vikrant are both busy with their TV shows. While Monalisa is seen on Nazar, Vikrant is in Vidya. The couple recently bought a car.
There’s was not the first wedding in the reality show. In season four, TV actors Ali Merchant and Sara Khan had also taken the nuptial vows on TV. However, they were paid a whopping amount to get married on national television. They soon called off the wedding after coming out of the show.
