Neha Solanki will be seen playing the role of Title in the upcoming drama with the same name. TITLI is a love story about a cheerful and vivacious young woman named who is on a quest to meet her ideal man and live a dream life with him. Garv is played by Avinash Mishra, who co-stars with Neha Solanki. It will be interesting to see how the conflict unfolds in Titli's life, and will there be a happily ever after?
Titli, played by Neha Solanki, portrays a Gujarati girl. Despite being from Nainital, Neha is now fluent in Gujarati and enjoys Gujarati food.
Neha further added, “I am from Nainital and for my show Titli, I have to portray the character of a Gujarati girl. In order to get precision for my character, I thought of trying Gujarati cuisine. When I came to Mumbai, I had heard a lot about Maharashtrian and Gujarati cuisines, which made me more intrigued to try it. Moong dal ki khichdi was the first Gujarati dish that I tried and have been a fan of it since then. It tastes heavenly along with the Kadhi. Recently, I got a chance to explore the Gujarati cuisine that included sixteen to eighteen different types of dishes and more than my stomach, my heart was full.”
Neha had earlier spoken about how her role of Titli was similar to Kareena Kapoor’s character Geet from the film Jab We Met. Neha had shared, “This is the first time I'll be playing a character like this. Titli has different shades when it comes to her character. It was when my family mentioned my similarity with Geet from Jab We Met, that I started to notice it myself. Most of the qualities that Geet has are similar to those of Titli. Geet and Titli both are on a quest to find their Mr. Right and fulfill their childhood dream of marrying the man of their dreams. Jab We Met is my go-to movie. Whenever I am stressed or feeling low, I make sure to watch Jab We Met. It is my comfort film. I am excited about essaying the role of Titli similar to that of Geet and it is a dream come true. Just like Geet has managed to create a place in the hearts of the audience, I hope I can do the same.”
