Neha’s most recent post for her father read, “Daddy, I still don’t believe you’re gone, and I don’t want to believe it. My heart refuses to accept a world where you’re not there. It’s not just me our entire family feels this emptiness. Yet somehow, I feel you everywhere. In silence. In memories. I am going to miss you so much, Daddy. I keep thinking about our last dinner together, our last conversation, and that beautiful message you sent me just a day before. I hold it like it’s a part of you I can still touch.”


Neha also wrote, “I know how much you missed Mom every day, every minute. I saw it in you. I felt it. I know you wanted to be with her again because I knew how much you loved her. That kind of love is rare, Daddy. I am so lucky to be born to parents like you and Mama. You taught me what love really means the purity, the honesty, the depth, the truth. You taught me how love feels when it’s real. Mom taught me so much too. Everything I am is because of both of you.”


She further said, “I imagine all of you together up there in heaven… You, Mom, and Bhaiya. That thought comforts me more than anything. Bhaiya, please take care of Dad and Mom for me. Now they are with you. I carry a little guilt in my heart that I couldn’t take care of Mom and Dad the way I wanted to. But I know you’re taking care of them, and that gives me peace. Dad, don’t worry about Nishu. I will take care of him. I promise. I will love Ayaan the way you loved him. And Arjun, your favorite damad, will make you proud as always. I promise you that too.
