After a courtship of two years, television actress Niti Taylor finally tied the knot with beau Parikshit Bawa, an Army officer on August 13. Two years ago, they exchanged rings on August 13 itself. Niti has been a popular face of the television industry and rose to popularity through her shows, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, Ishqbaaz, and others. In an exclusive interview with BT, Niti spoke about her close-knit wedding affair, honeymoon plans, and more: (By Neha Maheshwari)

Speaking about the wedding, Niti Taylor said, "We were planning to get married at the end of October. However, owing to the COVID-19 situation and understanding that it won’t improve drastically, we decided to advance the wedding and exchange nuptial vows on our engagement date. It wasn’t, of course, the best way since both our sisters couldn’t join us for the wedding, but we do plan to celebrate with everyone when the situation improves."(Photo: Instagram)

Niti and Parikshit's wedding was an intimate affair with just their parents and immediate family members in attendance. "We had a ceremony at a gurudwara in Gurgaon, which was attended only by our parents and immediate family. The decision to tie the knot on August 13 was taken on August 6, which gave me just a week to prepare for my big day. Sharing about their honeymoon plans, which is usually the next step after the wedding, Niti shared that as of now they are waiting for the situation to improve. The 25-year-old actress said, "That will happen once things become normal again and after we celebrate with our family and friends. For now, it’s more of a fun-moon (laughs!)."(Photo: Instagram)

Niti Taylor shared a beautiful video from all her wedding ceremonies and some romantic moments with hubby Parikshit and penned down an emotional but happy note. She wrote: "My journey from Miss to Mrs is complete. I'd like to share with all my well-wishers that I tied the knot with Parikshit on 13 August 2020. We had a very small, quiet, and intimate wedding with just our parents, aka, Covid wedding. I can finally say out loud "Hello Husband" ❤️. Making my own happiness in 2020!! Also, I'm announcing this late because we were hoping that the Covid-19 pandemic would die down sooner and we could celebrate in a big way - but hoping for a better 2021 (sic)" (Photo: Instagram)

Niti shared a beautiful solo picture of herself decked up in a pastel lehenga. Needless, to say, she looks like the perfect bride here. She also shared a video on her Instagram's story where her family was dancing to the song, 'Hawan karenge' and it was captioned that this is a mandatory dance at a Punjabi Fauji's (army man) wedding. Another video had Niti sharing hugs and kisses with her maternal parents. It was indeed, emotional.(Photo: Instagram)
