Nisha Rawal blasts trolls over viral clip featuring her 7-year-old son Kavish; says 'Sharam aani chahiye, Maa-Bete ke relation ko...'
Television actress Nisha Rawal, known for her role in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, has responded strongly to online backlash over a video of her 7-year-old son Kavish. The clip, which shows the mother and son posing for paparazzi at a Mumbai event, sparked criticism after a brief moment where Kavish was seen touching her chest. On Sunday evening, Nisha addressed the controversy, condemning the negative comments and saying that those making such remarks should be deeply ashamed.
Nisha recently was spotted at a fashion show event in Mumbai, where she was questioned about her thoughts on the viral video.
During her conversation with Instant Bollywood, Nisha said, "Sharam aani chahiye unn logon ko joh ek maa-bete ke relationship ko uss nazariye se dekhte hain. Yeh khot unke mann mein hai, so no more comments on that. Uss baare mein kya hi bol sakte hai?"
(People who view a mother and son's bond through such a twisted lens should feel ashamed. The flaw lies in their mindset, so I don’t wish to comment further. What more can really be said about such thinking?)
Back in 2021, Nisha Rawal had leveled serious allegations of domestic violence against her former husband, Karan Mehra. Following the complaint, Karan was taken into custody. As per Nisha's statement to the Goregaon police in Mumbai, a heated argument between the two escalated, during which Karan allegedly shoved her against a wall, causing a head injury.
Nisha further alleged that Karan Mehra was involved in an extramarital relationship with a woman from Delhi during his shoot schedule in Chandigarh.
In our earlier interview, Nisha had called motherhood a blessing. She shared, "Motherhood has definitely been a splendid journey. I feel it has added more value to my life. I’ve a bigger purpose, nurturing a human being inside and then outside your body. It is nothing short of a blessing and a miracle that I witness everyday."
She also spoke about how she feels privileged that she is able to take care of her child, "They say it takes a village to raise a kid and I’ve a village with me. My staff, my mother, that support is very important. Now that I am a single parent, I always say that it takes two people to make a baby, so it takes two to raise one. But you know sometimes in life you are at a stage, when you come across challenges, you land up being a single parent. I have no complaints whatsoever because it is a very big boon to me and I feel privileged to take care of my child."
Karan and Nisha got married in 2012 and became parents to their son, Kavish, five years later in 2017.
