in the lead roles is all set to wrap by mid-August. Garcy says, “Nothing is finalised. Discussions are going on and we haven’t been updated yet.” Even if it's going to wrap up, Gracy is ok with it. She says, “Everything has to come to an end and so this show will too have its run. When we sign any project or show, we already know that some or the other day, it will come to an end. We have to accept it. Also if it will not end, how will one be able to start something new. As the makers have decided to bring it to a close, I am okay with it.”

Sahani, enjoyed working in the show, which is based on the Indo-Pak partition. “It’s been a great journey and I loved being a part of it. I made friends, and everyone became a part of my extended family. Especially Zaan and I became the thickest of friends during the show.” On being asked about her experience she further adds, "Actually there are many similarities between me and my on-screen character. I love writing and my character too loves penning down her thoughts. Also, I don’t give up easily and love to fight back in every circumstance. That’s the reason that I relate so much with her. Amrit will always remain close to my heart.”

Zaan is my 4 am friend
During the show, she got along well with her co-actor Zaan who plays her love interest and then husband. And their chemistry on-screen as well as off-screen has always been a talking point. Shares Gracy, “Zaan is my 4 am friend and I can talk to him about anything and everything. I am an introvert and generally don’t make friends very easily. I don’t like opening up very quickly and taking time to make friends. With him, it was very different and we became friends in no time. He also knows my family very closely.” Though there is an age difference between Zaan and Gracy, it never really mattered to them. Justifies Gracy, "Age is just a number when it comes to friendship. In fact both of us felt as if there was no age gap between us. At times, he behaves more childish than me while sometimes I am more mature than him. We created a connection and bond with each other regardless of the age factor. In fact, I started watching movies as he loves films a lot. As I like South Indian food very much, he too has started enjoying it."

course and dedicate some time to self care. I am also planning a family trip to Maldives so that I can completely rejuvenate before I take up my next project and get busy with work,” she signs off.
