Pati Patni Aur Panga: Hina Khan recalls how Rubina Dilaik sent her ‘handwritten notes’ after her cancer diagnosis; says, “Rubina mein bohot khoobiyan hain”
TV show Pati Patni Aur Panga is winning the hearts of the audience with its entertaining episodes and stellar line-up of star cast. A clip from a recent episode has gone viral on social media where Hina Khan can be seen talking about her cancer diagnosis and how Rubina Dilaik supported her during that time.
Hina started by saying that there are many things she admires about Rubina. She recalled how Rubina used to send her handwritten letters to support her when she found out about her cancer diagnosis. Fans praised Rubina for her gesture and showered love on her in the comments section.
Hina shared, “Rubina has many qualities. She is the only one from the Indian television industry who used to send me handwritten letters instead of text messages when she found out about my cancer diagnosis. The only one who took this kind of effort.” Abhinav then praised his wife Rubina and said, “So sweet.”
In an exclusive interview with Times of India TV, Rubina spoke about balancing work and motherhood with her twins. She said, “Honestly, if Abhinav hadn’t been by my side, I wouldn’t have been able to manage everything. Motherhood would have felt far more challenging. He chose to step back and stayed home with our daughters so I could work. He made a selfless choice to withdraw from a few of his commitments so he could be with our daughters, and that allowed me to continue working.”
She further shared, “That’s a massive plus in my life. I remember when we first talked about becoming parents, he said, ‘I’m ready,’ but I told him I needed more time because I wanted to focus on my career. He completely understood and gave me that time. That made me realize I had his full support. Even now, he helps with things like changing diapers without ever complaining or asking for appreciation.”
