Poonam Preet turns princess in 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'

The good-looking Poonam Preet, who was last seen in 'Ek Hasina Thi', is back on the small screen with the TV show 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'. She will be seen as the antagonist. Poonam says, "I play an 18-year-old princess, Bindu ,and my friends call me Lovey. I get to wear best of clothes and look pretty for a character, which I haven't attempted before."


It's not the first time, she will be seen in a mean avatar. She has played a negative role in 'Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls', but that was a cameo. "This character will add a lot of spice and drama to the storyline. In short, this character will lit the fire and also add fuel to it."
On being asked about replacing Chandni Bhagwanani, who was almost finalised to play the part, she says, " I have no idea about this. The production house told me that they had considered several actresses for this role, but I was destined to be the negative lead of 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' post the time leap.
