Expressing her happiness on joining the cast of the show that has been winning hearts for over a decade now, Priyamvada, says, “It’s one of the longest-running TV shows in history with the most number of episodes. It's truly an honour to be a part of history.” The actress says that she felt at home when she joined the show despite being a new entrant. “I was welcomed on the show just like family. Getting along with everyone was smooth. I got into the skin of the character from the word go,” she adds

While

Priyamvada

enjoys playing her character Rhea onscreen in the show, she isn’t quite like her in real life. “Rhea is a Today’s girl. A go-getter knows what she wants and will leave no stones unturned to get it. She is also very well dressed and well-spoken which are traits that are relatable,” says Priyamvada, adding, “But honestly I’m nothing like Rhea in my real life. I can never be rude or hurt anyone. Also being in love with someone who isn’t interested in you is just not my thing. Would never do that in real life. My character wants a man to fall in love with her despite him not being interested in her.”

After winning Splitsvilla along with

Shrey Mittal

, millennials looked up to the couple, but her relationship status is quite different now. “I got a lot of love on Splitsvilla. Everyone was rooting for us and our relationship was everyone’s favourite. However things didn’t work out later,” she clarifies.

However, she is open to finding love once again. “I think love can happen anywhere anytime with anyone! And mostly when you don’t expect it, but I’m someone who gets attached easily. Causal and unattached love is definitely not my thing. All relationships teach you something good and bad. Learn from the bad, take the good, and move on in life.”

Priyamvada is happily single and is enjoying this phase. “I’m single. I’m in no hurry to find someone for myself. I want to be with you only cause we really want to be with each other not cause we need to. Adding value to each other’s life is important,” she concludes.
