Puja Banerjee: Motherhood is beautiful, satisfying and tough!

had a baby boy in October. It's been 10 months and Puja confesses that her hands are full and she has no time to think about anything else except her baby.

She says, "Soon after I gave birth to

Krishiv

, I thought I would be able to get back to work in a few months but it has been tough. Kunal and I are constantly sharing duties and balancing responsibilities around our child. Being a full-time mother is both enjoyable and tough."

Talking about how life has changed, Puja says, "I haven't slept well for almost a year now. There used to be a time when nobody could wake me up from my sleep and I would sleep for hours, but Krishiv wakes me up any time and I don't feel disturbed. I just enjoy cuddling and kissing him all the time and it is a new feeling. Motherhood is beautiful, tough and comes with a lot of work. I have not been able to look for any full time assignment because Krishiv constantly needs me. I even cook his food and he wants only me to feed him. The whole day is woven around him and I keep planning on what next after we finish with one task. When he is having food, I am constantly thinking of his next meal."

Ask Puja how hubby Kunal has been helping her and she says, "He has always been a great father. Currently, we have many guests over as Janmashtami is coming up and we are planning a celebration at home. So he is busy with that."

Work will happen at some point soon but she is in no hurry, she says. "I do plan to start working soon but as of now, I feel it is important to look after the baby and only after he starts staying with another family member can I think of doing something else. Being a mother, I want to enjoy this beautiful phase and watch my baby grow," she signs off.
