It has been a while since
Radha Bhatt was seen in a TV show. The actress was last seen in
Zindagi Ki Mehak
in which she played the role of
Shwetlana
. After that, she took a break from the small screen to explore work on various online platforms. But what many people don't know is that
Radha used to work for a corporate company before becoming an actress.
Talking about it, she says, “I had a corporate job earlier, but quit that to be an actress. Later, I was working as a lecturer while auditioning for roles. I did that to earn some income till I bagged some acting assignments. I knew it was a big risk in terms of my career, but I wanted to take the chance because I was confident of making it in showbiz. While it hasn’t been an easy journey – there were many rejections and endless auditions among other things – I knew going back to my old job wasn’t an option. I believed in myself and my talent. I knew that with perseverance I would make it and today, I am glad that my dream has come true. I have no regrets.”
Radha, who made her debut on the small screen in 2016, adds that despite having a lot of family responsibilities, she risked everything to be an actor. “I was the sole earning member in my house after my father passed away. There were many things that I had to look out for, but those things didn’t pull me back. But I never let those difficult days get me down. My journey has made me the person I am today,” she ends.
