Rakhi Sawant reveals she's getting an affidavit made to get a visa for Umrah during Ramzan; says, 'I have accepted Islam, I do namaz..'

Rakhi Sawant is hoping to go for Umrah this Ramadan. The actress, who is fighting a legal battle against husband Adil Khan Durrani, revealed her desire of going for Umrah to paps this morning (March 13). She shared that the process is on for getting her a visa but she is unsure if it would come through.

Rakhi revealed in her chat with paps that she wants to get over her past and move ahead in life. She said, "I want to be happy like before, I don't want to cry anymore. I am trying to stand again on my feet as life is beautiful. Jo chala gaya uske peeche roke fayda nahi hai (There's no need to cry for someone who has left). I want to start afresh. You will find Rakhi Sawant like this now - hasti khelti naachti gaati."

Sharing her plans for the holy month, Rakhi said, "Ek maheena Ramzan ka sambhal ke because usmein shayad hi mein gym aongi (I'd be cautious in Ramzan for a month and won't come to the gym). Because you have to stay hungry the whole day. Roze mein sirf namaz padhna hai poore maheene (Have to read namaz the whole month)." (Photo: Instagram)

Rakhi shared she is in the process of getting an affidavit made so she can go for Umrah. She said, "Mere Khalid Mamu, Wahid bhai...they are making my affidavit in Jama Masjid a for visa so I can go for Umrah. I want to keep rozas properly so my sins get washed. If I go for Umrah during Ramzan, mera naseeb khul jayega. But I don't know if I'd get the affadavit though I have accepted Islam. Mein roze karti hun, namaz padthi hun paanch time ki. All I'd say is that mera connection upar wale se hai agar unhe lagta hai agar mein tahe dil se namaaz padh rahi hun, sachai se Islam follow kar rahi hun, toh mera umrah jaana definitely hoga."

Rakhi also congratulated the team of RRR on their big win. She said, "Naatu has got an Oscar award. Bahot mubarak ho.It's my favourite song. Ram Charan and Junior NTR have peformed on the song brilliantly. I feel even the firangi dancers did amazing steps on stage. What energy."

Rakhi was all praise for Bollywood beauty, Deepika Padukone, who presented the song at the Oscars. Rakhi said, "I feel very proud that even Deepika's speech was amazing. Oscar ke platform pe jaake ache ache darr jate hain. Mein bhi darr jaon but Deepika looked stunning. (Oscar's platform is such that it can scare anyone including me...). Her speech was so nice."

Rakhi was asked if she'd also get there one day, she said, "Inshallah, nothing is impossible in this world. If RRR can get an Oscar, then God willing, I'd also get it one day. Indian gaana Oscar mein pahuncha na. Koi badi baat nahi hai. Humein bhi ek din mil jayega. Abhi India mein achi filmein, ache gaane banne lage hai. Definitely thoda dikkat hai. IIFA tak pahonch sakte hain...Oscars tak pahunchna thoda sa mushkil hota hai. But nothing is impossible in front of God."
