Rakhi Sawant is in the news again, this time for forgiving Mika Singh against whom she had filed a case against Mika. The Bombay High Court on Thursday (June 15), by her consent, quashed her first information report (FIR) of 2006 and chargesheet alleging molestation against singer Mika Singh.


When contacted this evening, Rakhi told ETimes TV, "Mika had become my well-wisher. Abhi woh mera dost hai. He calls up and talks very nicely to me. Kitne din ladte rahenge? I don't want to die with the burden of clashes with people. Abhi life mein aage jana hai mujhe."


In a one-page affidavit, Advocate Ayush Pasbola, appearing for Sawant, has said, "On the basis of my complaint dated 11.06.2006, the Oshiwara police station had registered an FIR against petitioners for the commission of offences punishable under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) read with 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. Subsequent to the registration of the FIR, and over a period of time, the petitioners and I have amicably resolved all our differences and realised that the entire dispute had arisen due to misunderstanding and misconception on our part."
