Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai starrer 'Kasamh Se' turns 20; Ektaa Kapoor recalls some fond memories
Ektaa Kapoor has given Indian television some of its most popular, successful, and iconic shows. One of them is Kasamh Se, starring Ram Kapoor and Prachi Desai, which first aired on February 16, 2006. The daily soap has completed 20 years, and to mark the occasion, Ektaa took to her Instagram account to share a video from the show. She posted a compilation of some of the most iconic scenes from Kasamh Se.
The story of the daily soap revolved around the three sisters, Bani (Prachi Desai), Piya (Roshni Chopra/ Manasi Varma), and Rano (Arunima Sharma/Pallavi Purohit).
Ektaa looked back on fond memories and wrote a heartfelt caption to go with the post, "20 years million memories ! Kasam Se (sic)".
Kasamh Se, which premiered in 2006, featured Sudha Shivpuri, Jaya Bhattacharya, Gurdeep Kohli, Manasi Varma, Pallavi Purohit, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Vivian Dsena in supporting roles. The show enjoyed a successful run of three years and remained on air until March 12, 2009.
The new year has started on a great note as their iconic show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi completed 2000 episodes. The show completed 2000 episodes on 11th January. Speaking about the milestone, Ektaa Kapoor shared, "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is not just a show; it is a shared memory for generations of Indian audiences. Completing 2000 episodes over 25 years reflects the love, loyalty, and emotional investment viewers have given this story. I’ve always believed that if you stay honest to your instinct and your audience, the stories find their way into people’s homes and hearts. This milestone belongs as much to the viewers who stood by us as it does to every writer, actor, technician, and partner who grew with us.”
