Rise and Fall: Manisha Rani and Arjun Bijlani bash Akriti Negi for not giving a ‘pitch’ in the red room; say, “Ye sirf soti rehti hai”

OTT-based show Rise and Fall has been entertaining the audience ever since the very start. Fans are enjoying the show and rooting for their favourites. A new promo for the show is out, and it unveils major drama between the contestants. Manisha Rani even got into a tiff with Akriti Negi, while Kiku Sharda and Arjun Bijlani also called out Akriti’s game plan.


It began with all the rulers giving a pitch in the red room and describing why they should continue to be in the penthouse. While all the rulers spoke about their game and why they deserve to be in the penthouse, Akriti Negi refused to say anything. She said that she didn’t want to disrespect herself and hence wouldn’t give a pitch.



Hearing this, all the rulers called her out, especially Arjun Bijlani and Manisha Rani. Arjun said, “If somebody wants to give up before trying, what do we even say to her? This is a disrespect to the red room.” Akriti responded, “I don’t want to disrespect myself by giving a pitch.”


Manisha, on the other hand, said, “She had decided that she will come in the red room and do something different, and hence she is acting this way. Anyways, she isn’t playing the game and is sleeping in a corner, so better she goes to the basement and does something.” Akriti, however, refused to accept the claims.


Kiku Sharda also told Akriti that if she doesn’t stand up for herself, then no one else will.


The promo sparked strong reactions from fans online. While some supported Manisha and Arjun for calling out Akriti’s passive game, others defended Akriti, saying she was taking a stand in her own way. One fan wrote, “Manisha is right, Akriti is not playing at all!” while another commented, “At least Akriti is clear she doesn’t want to fake a pitch.”
