Actress Rishina Kandhari has just returned from a seven-day trip to Sri Lanka and since then, she has been posting pictures from her trip on social media. The 'Tenali Rama' actress was on an all-girls trip accompanied by her mother and daughter. “It was like three generations going out together. We hadn’t done that for a long time. This was a long due girls’ week out for us,” she told us.
From soaking under the sun to showering with the elephants, the actress had a fun-filled trip.
“We visited many places including Kandy, Colombo, Mirissa and Bentota. We shopped a lot, ate at all the popular eateries and also went to the Buddhist temples – Gangaramaya Temple and Seema Malaka Temple. We also went to an elephant orphanage where we played with the elephants, gave them a bath, showered with them and had a lot of fun,” she said.

Among other adventures, the actress also tried speedboating for the first time. “We indulged in different water sports and beach activities there. I drove a speedboat for the first time. We also saw a turtle hatchery where they breed turtle eggs and release the babies in the sea,” she added. Rishina, who is a globetrotter herself, wants her daughter to be just like her, an explorer. “I want to send her on solo trips. Right now, I’m taking her along and building her confidence, so that she can interact with different people and know different things and places, but once she grows up, I would want her to travel the entire world on her own,” she said.
