Ronit Roy renews vows with wife Neelam Roy with all rituals on their 20th wedding anniversary; watch
Ronit Roy married actress and model Neelam on 25 December 2003, and 20 years later, the couple renewed their wedding vows. From exchanging garlands to saat phere, Ronit and Neelam got married again with all the wedding rituals.
The actor shared several videos of all the wedding rituals. They renewed vows in presence of their children, family and friends. While bride Neelam wore a bright red salwar suit, Ronit was dressed in a beige kurta pyajama with golden motifs on it.
Ronit initially shared a picture of the temple, where they were supposed to get married. He wrote, “Preparations on in full swing at our temple! I’m getting married today. Maybe I’ll go live so I can invoke your good wishes and blessings.”
Later, he posted videos from their wedding ceremony and wrote, “Doosri baar toh kya, hazaaron baar byaah tujhi Se karoonga! Happiest 20th anniversary my love.”
Friends and fans showered love and good wishes to the couple.
For TV’s one of the highest rated actors, Ronit Roy, it was love at first sight. And for Neelam too, it was love at first sight. After dating for three and half years, the couple tied the knot in December 2003. Ronit and Neelam are parents to Aador and Agastya.
He has been in the showbiz for around 30 years and has seen several ups and downs. In an interaction with BT, the actor had said, “For anything I do on TV, things need to work out from both sides (mine and the makers’). Two things happen to actors on TV – either you wither away, or you grow, and I feel I have grown as an actor. I am still offered a lot of TV shows, but either the budget doesn’t click, or the show lacks creativity. So, while makers get a reputed face when they sign me for a show, for me, there is nothing. But I am not saying I wouldn’t do TV, if I feel a show has the potential to touch hearts, then I’m game and would do it with all the love.”
After doing several iconic shows in television like Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Bandini, Adaalat and many others, the actor has now shifted gears to the digital platform. He also did several films in recent times like Farrey, Shehzada, Liger, Shamshera and others.
