Saath Nibhana Saathiya's Gopi Bahu 'Devoleena Bhattacharjee' warns trolls making memes of late actress Aparna Kanekar who played Baa

Devoleena Bhattacharjee known for essaying the iconic Gopi Bahu in TV serial Saath Nibhana Saathiya, has called out fans of her show to not include late actress Aparna Kanekar in any memes on social media.

The actress shared a post by a fan page using the late actress' picture, edited as a bride and written about her marriage. Which irked Devoleena.

Devoleena who is currently on a vacation with her husband Shanwaz Shaikh and her friend and Saath Nibhana Saathiya co-star Bhavini Purohit took out time and wrote, "I know & respect the fact that our show Saathiya was loved by you all & still showering love to all of us. I assume many of you are not aware that Baa is no more. So I request each & everyone not to make these memes or anything related to her. Pray for her soul. Om Shanti."

The actress voice was taken seriously and the fan page deleted the memes. This complete incident Devoleena is still very much possessive about her saathiya family. And comes out whenever required.

Actress Aparna Kanekar passed away in November 2023 at the age of 83. She played the role of Janaki Ba Modi in the show. The late actor joined the popular television show as Janaki Baa in 2011.
