Sanjay Gagnani becomes a joker in ‘Kundali Bhagya’

Actor Sanjay Gagnani sported a rather unique look for an episode in his show, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, which will air tonight. He donned the mask of a joker and delivered a rather challenging sequence. Talking about his experience with it, he says, “The mask was very suffocating. I could hardly breathe. In fact, I was breathless and could hardly speak. However, after every shot, I had to remove the mask to hydrate myself as I was sweating profusely. Somehow, I managed to perform and deliver a six-page monologue.”Once he was in costume, Sanjay was totally into his character. He shares, “Once the director said, ‘action’, I was transported into another world. Wearing the mask made me feel like a joker who could do anything and everything he wished for. I felt powerful. That’s when I realised that nothing matters or bothers me between ‘action’ and ‘cut’.”The sequence, we hear, is crucial to the ongoing drama. “It results in a major twist on the show. Everything goes haywire once Prithvi (Sanjay’s character in the show) becomes the joker boss of the goons,” he signs off.
